Tomorrow the INN is hosting the annual Fa La La La La La La La INN Christmas party up on Western’s campus. Every year, we like to take the last Tuesday night of the quarter and head up to campus to celebrate the Christmas season with our students and the rest of the campus. Festivities include: tons of treats, hot cocoa and coffee, gingerbread houses, a couple of Christmas-y games (Elf bowling and holiday trivia), pictures with Santa, and a special performance by local musicians Late Tuesday.

As with any event we put together, I get a little bit stressed out during the preceding days. Part of it is that I am still going through my first round with each of our calendar year programs, so it’s new to me, even if I took part in the same event as a student. The other part is that I really want to be creative and helpful, but this often looks like me worrying about everything. Needless to say, I’m working on it. I’ve enjoyed being on the other side of it this year.

It all goes off tomorrow night at 8pm and it’s free, so if you’re up around campus, please stop by. There will be something warm for you to drink, good people to hang out with, and good music to listen to. And, if you’re lucky, Santa might let you take a picture with him.
